Facebook has already announced that this year we should expect more new applications (apps) from them, apps such as Messenger app. The first of these applications is the new Paper apps which Facebook introduced today. It is made from a newly formed team called Facebook Facebook Creative Labs, responsible for creating authenticated applications .
New Paper application is designed to monitor the news and stories, as they call them. It will display content from multiple sources and multiple themes such as sports, technology, popular culture, etc. , but your personal Facebook news feed wont stay turned off. First page when you open the application will actually be your default news feed, or your homepage with news of Facebook application and website. The difference will be in the design of the application, and thus presenting the news.
The design of the application has been made recently popular style of cards, something somewhat similar to Flipboard, with accent placed on the larger images and content. Navigating the application will be through a few simple gestures, and will also be placed on the entire screen, to make it simple to read.
In the beginning the application will only be available for iPhone users who are in America. The availability of the same iPad or Android in other countries is not known. Short demo of the application you can see the official website at the following link.
